Why use RSS?

Can I use RSS?
One can only use and rss feed if it is created when the content is put online. The state web portal ri.gov supports feeds from many state entities including several from the Department of Health (more).
How do I use RSS?
To use an RSS feed you must use a feed aggregator (or reader) which will format the information. Depending on the reader the feed may go to another website, your personal homepage, an email account or a mobile device. There are many different news readers available, many for free. Most news readers are applications that you download and install. Some others are web-based services you sign-up for that work inside your browser. List of Feed Aggregators
